My filmmaking journey began in sixth grade, when I was around 12 years old. I had a Sony camcorder that recorded onto cassette tapes, and I still remember going to the camera shop to buy those 60-minute tapes.

 

Every tape was an opportunity to capture the happiest moments of family life, and every minute mattered.

Soon, I was inviting my cousins and friends to make our own little films, creating stories and acting out scenes. I began filming school events and volunteering to document community gatherings and sports events at our local club, interviewing players and capturing moments behind the scenes.

As more people saw my work, I became a familiar face across my city. People started reaching out to me to film their weddings and special occasions, and what began as a childhood passion gradually became a way to earn money doing what I loved.

Looking back, it all started with a camera, a few cassette tapes, and a passion that never stopped growing.
